Just had pizza for lunch...another attachment student's farewell (he turned out to be my junior from my secondary school, what a small world!) so the department organised a farewell lunch for him....had quite a nice time, lots of jokes and his speech was kinda funny....12 of us were there and I think we brought the roof down...hahaha....we were very noisy cos was laughing soo much! :) had an enjoyable time. My ex-boss (he was the one who helped me get attachment job here) also went and he was really funny with his words, gestures and jokes....he's a funny fella, fun to be with.

It's now an hour before my lunchtime, and my boss isn't in yet, haha....wah! being a lawyer is fun, huh? Don't have to come early for work but can skive off somewhere or pretend to go for a meeting outside and conveniently get stuck in the traffic *grin* Sigh...nothing to do cos I've finished the work she gave me. So far nobody has commented on me remaining in room...GOOD! :) That's why you can see a few new stuffs added to the blog, cos I still have free Internet access :) The Bridget Jones site is kinda nice and funny, check it out, those who has read the book will find the script funny :) (Akira, you'll definitely enjoy it!)

but not anymore now. But I still think they make a good couple together.

No sign of "Perpetua"....*phew*. So far so good, I guess. But my boss still has not told me whether I can use the room...and she's gone out for a meeting, so now am afraid that if and IF "Perpetua" ever asks me why I'm still in room, I have nobody to defend me :( *worry, worry*
Just had a quarter of a yam mooncake courtesy of the kind tea-lady who serves coffee every morning and tea in afternoon. She was waving her hands outside my room but I thought she was asking me whether I wanted tea. I shook my head cos I didnt want tea...but later she came into my room and asked me whether I wanted mooncake. So very nice of her :) It was quite delicious...its not the normal mooncake with lotus paste, but had a fried outer layer and yam paste....hmm, yummy!

Arrgghh.......am gonna go mad! My status here is like hanging......do I stay in room or get evicted? Nobody is helping me here either, my boss isnt here yet to clarify my position and ppl are giving me weird stares whenever they pass my room, or am I just being paranoid?? I'm dreading the moment when Iron Lady passes my room during her daily patrol...(doesn't she remind you of Perpetua, Bridget's boss).....and she's just as annoying! As if she owns the firm or something, why do admin ppl think they have unlimited powers?? Hmm....i think it's like a conspiracy or something, cos always professionals will be under the control of admin ppl....inevitable in a company, huh? and same here.....dunno whether the lawyers are more powerful or the arrogant admin!! they wanna control everything! and I mean EVERYTHING....the other day they didnt even allow me to have my own stapler *annoyed look*....can you imagine that, so stingy and inconsiderate....as if a stapler costs THAT much.....I told the stationery woman that I really need one cos I do a lot of printing and stapling, but NO....nooo.....she said Iron Lady don't allow attachment students to have staplers!! hahaha.....totally hilarious, such a huge firm, with 40 over lawyers and here they are skimping on staplers.....what kinda policy is that? they spent even more on me by inviting me for the farewell dinner (I didnt have to pay) at Royal Selangor Club (chinese 9-course meal, mind you)....That certainly costs more than a silly stapler! *sigh*... the perils of the working world.....hmm, starting to get disillusioned with all this...destroying my perception of the working world.....and then there are the office bitching, gossips and cliques.....well, its a rat race out there....! hope I survive unscathed from this 'crisis'....I dont wanna get into trouble with "Perpetua"......

I smell trouble ahead...big trouble....although I can't predict the future but I know something is up....well, here's the story. I am asked to vacate the office room I'm occupying at the moment. This is cos the rooms are only exclusively for the lawyers in the firm but I was an exception to this. As I'm only an attachment student (tiny, minute figure of the firm) and so should only have a cubicle desk outside with the rest of the staff. But then I had to do research on the Internet, so my boss decided to let me use the room as only the rooms have Interent access (besides the ones in the library, 2 miserable crawling speed PCs, shared by all the other chambering students who also do not have a PC to themselves). So here I am for the past one month...and now the HR Manager (iron lady) (tyrannical admin ppl) decided to kick me out of this room cos she's jealous...HAH!! cos I'm not a lawyer and have my own room! so she's just being a pain, that's what my boss said. My boss (very kind of her) has decided to defend me and my privilege to use the room, so she said she will talk to the Iron Lady....now I still dunno what will happen, but just hoping for the best, cos I love this room and the PC here and also (hehe..) the free Internet access *grin*............am naughty aren't I....but who wouldn't like free Internet access?! "Ohh, please, let me keep the room, pretty please *innocent sweet look* I need it to do important research for the firm....contributing sooo much to the firm" hehehe....;)

Another boring day at work *bored-out-of-wits-look*...so far had to do research on some more securities and stockbroking stuff....arrrgghh!!! gimme a break, why does my boss want so much stuff on this topic? I already gave her soo much stuff and then she says she has to poke holes in her own presentation so that she can face potential questions from the ppl there or something....yea, rite, and I have to do all the answer-searching for her after all her 'hole-poking'.....*sigh* but the bright side is that it will be over after today, she said no more of this topic after today...which is a big relief!
Oh yea, watched the ending of Marmalade Boy yesterday, hehe....didn't actually follow the whole series but got to watch the last few...well, quite predictable as in I knew You and Guang Xi will be together...but just didnt know how the parents will sort it out. It's a complex story cos the parents switched partners between them and their son and daughter end up liking each other, then they thought they couldn't be together as they will be step-siblings....well, not hell of a story, just watched it cos no other show to watch at 7pm....Today "Winter Sonata" will be starting, but I'm not much of a Korea show fan, unlike Reka....dun find the lead actor cute at all....he just look old and girlish and weird....totally not my taste. But if I do get to, I might watch it to see what it's about.
Something new for baby bloggie today....a quiz and a cute graphic with a meaningful message to it :) And I quite agree with what it says...that's what true friends are for! Yea, Reka, they did approve the green, hehe *grin*, well it certainly catches attention huh? You wouldn't fall asleep visiting my blog! haha....Besides that, nothing much for me today....routine routine and more routine.....so not very interesting to talk about.

Ground-breaking news!!*horrors of horrors* *eyes wide open* Akira has just told me something very very SHOCKING! Something unlike her and totally out of her normal behaviour.....is she on drugs? smoking weed?? Is that a clone talking to me?? What was the shocker??
She said she would love to snog Toshiya! yea, I know not a big deal to many ppl, but it is a big deal when it comes from pure, innocent Akira, who would be embarrassed even by watching semi-nude couples in movies (not porno of coz) and fast-forwarding the segment! and here she is telling me her ultimate desire....snogging Toshi darling :) hehe....just soo unlike her....well, she's changed a whole great deal. Said Toshi brought out all this in her....*sigh, the power of true obsession* :) Nothing wrong with this, but that I've never seen this side of her...and I think there's more to come! ;)

whew! just ran back into office, *gasp*....was late cos was having lunch with Akira. Hehe, I slipped quietly back to work, as if I had been in room since 2pm....hehe *sly smile*. Spent a whole 20 minutes waiting for Akira outside McD's...hehe, but nvm....I forgive her cos it's exams. Now I have no work, so just chatting and tinkling with my blog. I added pics already :) haha....finally got the hang of html yay!! will see wat else I can add to this site. Maybe a quiz or two.....we'll see.
The thing is my site has no ongoing theme...unlike Akira, her's is Japanese stuff, anime and her Toshiya....but mine is like anything which is worth posting and interesting....so it is not so focused. More of an eclectic mix, from F1 to royals and actors....whatever it is, it's as long as I'm happy with it :)

Just had dinner after a whole day of shopping and strolling at MidValley...had quite a great time. Ate sushi and had tea at Delifrance....hmm, yummie croissants! Managed to find myself a nice pair of black sandals (finally! after many many weeks of searching) and also 2 tops....yay! *grin grin* And everything's on sale...so don't feel so guilty if I spend the money. Oh yea, guess who I saw today at MidValley....Marina Mahathir! yes, PM's all-gungho-about-AIDS-daughter. She was shopping around as well, saw her clutching some stuff from Padini Authentics...then she walked into Guess shop...well, well, everyone is into the sales now...hehe, after all she's only woman and needs all the shopping she can do! :) (don't u all agree, gals?) *winks*
Am feeling quite tired and just wanna jump into bed and fall fast asleep...hehe, well it's been a long day today. Just chatting wif Akira now about a very interesting project she is on....hehe, definitely NOT her SOGA!! haha.....well, she'll reveal what it is real soon! Gotta go doze.....*zzzzz*
